The device of ultraviolet irradiation dermatological Psorolite 100-3 is intended for the treatment of psoriasis, dermatitis, vitiligo and other skin diseases by exposure to narrow-band light 311 Nm (UVB-311) on the affected area of the skin. Exposure to UVB-311 provides an immunoregulatory effect, normalizes the balance of inflammatory and anti-inflammatory factors in the affected skin. At the same time, as with PUVA therapy, excessive cell division is inhibited. Rashes gradually turn pale, become less dense, peeling disappears. This is due to a decrease in the number of cellular elements in the foci of psoriasis. There is also a pronounced antipruritic effect. The panel is used in specialized clinics and venereal clinics.
The device is an aluminum profile housing with six 100 W lamps manufactured by Philips on a movable stand with a metal profile pipe. For the safety of patients, the lamps are protected by a special metal grille. At the top of the panel there is a sensor for measuring / dosing the radiation energy. The doctor has the opportunity to set on the control panel the time required for the treatment procedure, or the radiation dose in mJ / cm2. Based on the control of the initial radiation power (measurement occurs every time the device is connected to the power supply), the initially injected dose is automatically recalculated for the exposure time, with the possibility of correcting the time at the discretion of the personnel. The digital display allows you to visually control all the necessary processes. For the convenience of everyday work, an instruction with the procedure for starting work is attached near the digital display. The individual card access system allows you to control each of the currently registered cards and provides full control from unauthorized activation of exposure. Five access cards are supplied with the device.

"B" - set the radiation dose, type the required numerical value on the keyboard.
"C" - set the exposure time, to change the time on the keyboard, enter the required numerical value.
"D" - start key, after 10 seconds a sound signal will appear, the device will start the irradiation procedure.

Room requirements:
1. The area of the room in which the cabin will be installed must be at least 10-16 sq.m. The height of the room is not less than 2.6 m.
2. The surface of the walls and ceiling must be smooth, easily accessible for wet cleaning and disinfection.
3. The floor in the room must be flat and solid, have a concrete base. It is recommended to use ceramic tiles as a coating.
4. Air ventilation in the room should provide optimal microclimate conditions: forced ventilation or air conditioning system.
5. The premises must be equipped with grounding, which is connected to the external ground loop. The socket with a ground wire to which the cabin is connected must be connected to a separate 25A differential circuit breaker and to the mains. Electrical wires for installation must have a cross section of at least 2.5 mm2.
6. The body of the cabin is plastic, therefore, to disinfect the air in the premises, it is necessary to use an irradiator-recirculator in which bactericidal radiation does not go outside. *
Note * - for a room with an area of 10 -16 sq.m, it is recommended to install an irradiator-recirculator of the Violet 01 or Violet T02 type.
