The device of ultraviolet irradiation dermatological Psorolite 20-4 is intended for the treatment of psoriasis, dermatitis, vitiligo and other skin diseases by exposure to narrow-band light 311 Nm (UVB-311) on the affected area of the skin. Exposure to UVB-311 provides an immunoregulatory effect, normalizes the balance of inflammatory and anti-inflammatory factors in the affected skin. At the same time, as with PUVA therapy, excessive cell division is inhibited. Rashes gradually turn pale, become less dense, peeling disappears. This is due to a decrease in the number of cellular elements in the foci of psoriasis. There is also a pronounced antipruritic effect.

The device consists of four panels with lamps, which are mounted on two side vertical racks. Each panel can move around the axis in the range from 0 to 90°, and be fixed in the selected position with screws. The device is conveniently moved with the help of four wheels, two of which have a system for fixing the device. The device is used to treat hands or feet, provides simultaneous irradiation of the affected areas of the skin from above and below. The lamps are covered with a protective grill, resistant to vertical loads. The device has a timer that allows you to set the required time for the treatment procedure in the range from 1 second to 60 minutes. After it finishes, the lamps will turn off automatically. Panels with lamps can be switched on together or each panel separately. The device Psorolite 20-4 can be used as a block for the treatment of various areas of affected skin throughout the body.
