The Medicare Dual Head Stethoscope is designed to listen to the lungs, heart, and abdomen for normal or abnormal sounds.
In the course of a medical examination, it becomes necessary to conduct additional studies of the quality of the respiratory organs (lungs, bronchi), the nature of the activity of the heart (the rhythm of work, the presence of noise and extraneous sounds), measuring blood pressure on mechanical devices (listening to the sound of the first blow and its disappearance on recession in the cubital fossa of the upper limb). Such a study is performed using a stethophonendoscope, referred to as an auscultation procedure.
