INDICATIONS FOR USE

• the need for immobilization of the knee joint before and after surgical interventions, as well as during transportation;
• severe instability of the knee joint;

OPERATING PRINCIPLE

The splint immobilizes the knee joint, immobilizes the limb and, at the discretion of the doctor, can be used instead of a plaster cast. Protects the knee joint, ligaments and muscles of the leg after surgical interventions, prevents the occurrence of postoperative complications. In the case of using a splint for non-fixed deformities of the knee joint, it gradually corrects such pathologies.

DESCRIPTION

The splint has a detachable design, and it is convenient to put on and take off even in case of severe injuries. Four metal stiffening ribs, which are modeled on a healthy leg, exclude any mobility of the limb in the knee area. High-quality Velcro fasteners hold the product securely in place. The inner surface of the splint is covered with a layer of hypoallergenic cotton fabric, which absorbs moisture well and does not cause irritation on children's skin.

WHEN TO USE

• If the child's knee is characterized by unnatural mobility.
• If you have had knee surgery.
• If the baby had a serious knee injury that requires immobilization.
