OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The orthosis holds the child's legs in a divorced state so that the femoral head takes the correct position relative to the acetabulum. They do not immobilize the baby, but allow movement in such a volume and in such a position that the thigh independently assumes the correct position. Unloads the hip joint.
