MAIN CHARACTERISTICS
Scotchcast polymer gauze bandages are made from fiberglass or polymer fibers and impregnated with a polyurethane resin that hardens in the presence of water.
After 30 minutes, a light load is acceptable. Polymeric gauze materials are created as an alternative to plaster bandages and have a number of advantages: waterproof, lightweight, air- and moisture-permeable bandage is able to withstand the functional load already 30-40 minutes after application and low radiopacity.
