The EasyTouch (uncoded) blood glucose monitor is intended for in vitro diagnostic (outside the living body) and self-diagnosis only. The device can be used by physicians and diabetic patients to quantify glucose levels in fresh capillary fingerstick blood samples. Regular measurement of blood glucose levels is essential for managing diabetes. Simply apply a 2.5 µl drop of blood to the test strip and after 10 seconds the result will be shown on the display. The evaluation is based on the measurement of the electrical current that occurs due to the reaction of glucose with the reagent at the electrode of the test strip.

The EasyTouch (Uncoded) Blood Glucose Tester can only be used with EasyTouch (Uncoded) Blood Glucose Test Strips. Using other test strips may give false results.
