The EasyTouch Test Strips are designed for use with the EasyTouch Glucose Meter and for self-determination of glucose in a fresh capillary blood sample (in vitro diagnostics). They can be used both in hospitals and at home.

The EasyTouch Blood Glucose Tester is designed to quantify the level of sugar (β-D glucose) in a fresh capillary blood sample. The measurement is based on the determination of changes in electric current caused by the reaction of glucose with a reagent at the electrode of the strip.

When the blood sample lightly touches the sample area on the strip, the blood automatically moves to the reaction area on the strip. The test result is automatically displayed on the device display after 10 seconds.

Measuring range:

The measurement range of the EasyTouch blood glucose monitor is 20-600 mg/dL or 1.1-33.3 mmol/L.

Reagents:

Each EasyTouch test strip contains the following reagents:

  1. Glucose oxidase ≥ 1.2 IU
  2. Non-reactive ingredients ≥ 0.3mg

Storage:

  1. Store test strips at: 4-30°C.
  2. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not freeze.
  3. Do not use after the expiration date.
  4. Write on the container the date it was opened.
  5. Test strips must be used within 2 months from the date the container was opened.
  6. Close the lid of the container tightly after removing the test strip.
  7. Do not handle the test strip with wet or dirty hands.
  8. Do not open, bend, scratch or change test strips in any way.

Determining the level of glucose in the blood:

Wash and dry your hands thoroughly. Insert the scarifier into the lancet device. Prepare lancing device according to instructions. To determine your glucose level, do the following:

Step 1: Coding the device. Remove the test strip from the container; close the lid of the container tightly immediately. Insert the test strip into the appropriate test strip hole, the machine will automatically turn on. The display will show a code for a certain period of time. Make sure the code on the machine's display matches the code on the test strip container. If the code does not match, code the machine correctly.

Step 2: Sample application. Get a drop of blood according to the procedure described in the instructions. The drop symbol will appear on the display, apply the blood sample to the sample area on the test strip. The blood will automatically move to the reaction zone of the test strip. The device will begin measuring glucose levels.

Step 3: Check out the results in 10 seconds. The result is stored in the machine's memory automatically. Remove the test strip, after a while the device will turn off automatically.
