Instructions for use:
Clear the patient's airway of foreign objects before using the counterlung;
Tilt the patient's head back and pull the chin up to open the airway;
Provide mechanical ventilation to the patient, alternately squeezing and releasing the bag at the required frequency (usually 15-20 compressions / min.);
Make sure the patient is ventilated (alternately raising and lowering the chest, changing the color of the lips and face);
Coordinate ventilation efforts with spontaneous breathing to allow the patient to passively exhale;
If foreign objects (blood or vomit) appear in the mask, then remove the device from the patient and clear the airways;
Clear the device of the remnants of foreign matter by rapidly squeezing the bag. Shake the device to remove substances in the mask and valve;
Dispose of device and mask after use.
