Standard Spinal Anesthesia Needle (IPPS)

The body of the needle is made of stainless surgical steel with a smooth surface. The diamond-shaped cut allows the needle to easily pass through the tissues during the puncture. A steel stylet with a plastic base is placed in the needle lumen to prevent obturation of the needle by tissues and to give it additional rigidity.

The trapezoidal transparent pavilion with the effect of a magnifying glass and finger stops for easy grip provides a quick determination of the reverse flow of CSF.

Small diameter needles can be equipped with a guide designed to facilitate passage of superficial tissues and to guide the spinal needle.
