The stylet-trocar is made of medical steel and allows the introduction of thoracic drainage without the use of a clamp. The symmetrical side holes at the distal end create the best conditions for effective fluid outflow. With the help of a clamp, the drainage is inserted into the cavity or wound and gradually softens under the influence of the patient's body temperature. On the trocar, a drain of the appropriate diameter is introduced into the pleural cavity. The end of the trocar, located in the pleural cavity, is placed parallel to the chest and directed upwards.
