Purpose:
A gauze bandage is applied to open wounds, previously treated, and thanks to direct pressure, stops bleeding.
Due to the mesh structure of the bandage, the wound is ventilated (unlike a plaster bandage), which significantly accelerates healing.
Gauze bandages are used to strengthen dressings, fix cotton swabs and other medical devices, prevent unwanted movement of an injured limb, prevent edema, and support an injured joint or limb.
