Leoped is a ready-made sterile dressing, the microgrid of the pillow is coated with silver ions.
The dressing helps control wound infection and prevents reinfection of the wound.
Silver ions have excellent antiseptic properties, thereby reducing vital activity and blocking the reproduction of pathogenic bacteria, viruses and fungi.
According to clinical studies, silver, at a concentration of 1 ion per million, has demonstrated an antibacterial effect on a wide range of microorganisms, a higher concentration forms inactive salts, resulting in staining and slowing down the epithelization of tissues. The dressing material binds the sodium ions contained in the exudate, as a result of which silver ions are released from the fibers of the dressing.
Indications for use
The bandage can be successfully used for clean and infected wounds, thermal injuries, diabetic foot syndrome. The bandage does not have a toxic effect on the wound and adjacent tissues, promotes continuous cleansing of the wound, stimulates regeneration, and minimizes scarring. There is a pronounced hemostatic effect.
