Plaster on a silk basis 3M Durapore (Durapore) 5 cm x 9.1 m,
3M™ Durapore™ is a silk-based patch.
It is a high-strength multifunctional hypoallergenic plaster that provides reliable fixation of the most complex surgical dressings.
The special strength of fixation is achieved due to the movable structure of the material. The moisture-permeable base does not interfere with air exchange and does not allow excess moisture to accumulate, which can cause wound maceration and weaken adhesion.
  • Basis: artificial silk.
  • Adhesive: skin-friendly polyacrylate.
  • Degree of adhesion: high adhesion and strength.
Advantages:
  • Hypoallergenic.
  • Porous and breathable.
  • Fabric cover.
  • Easily comes off.
  • Lasting.
  • Can be inscribed.
  • Leaves no adhesive residue on the skin after removal.
Recommended applications:
  • Tight fitting and covering bandages.
  • Attachment of bulk bandages.
  • Attachment of large tubes and devices: colostomy bags, chest drains, or endotracheal tubes.
  • Splinting on fingers.
