Gypsum bandage - strips of medical gauze impregnated with high-quality gypsum mass, which hardens in the desired shape after wetting. Application: used in traumatology for the treatment of bone fractures, soft tissue injuries, joint diseases, etc.
Characteristics:
- the gypsum mixture is evenly distributed on gauze and fixed with a bacteriostatic material that is indifferent to the body;
- the edges of the bandage have evenly cut technological edges (without fringe);
- for the convenience of applying a bandage, a plaster bandage is wound on a plastic core;
- there are no external winding defects: holes, folds, shifts;
- when wetted in water, gypsum bandage has a neutral odor without hydrogen sulfide impurities;
- hypoallergenic.
