Threads SILK - braided or twisted threads of natural silk, coated or uncoated. The threads are strong, flexible, easy to manipulate, securely hold the knot.

Indications:
SILK threads are used in general surgery for tissue approximation and ligatures.
Contraindications:
SILK threads are not recommended for use in operations on the organs of the urinary and biliary systems (risk of stone formation), as well as in bacterially contaminated tissues.
Application:
SILK threads are recommended for suturing and ligatures on most tissues in general surgery. The threads are easily knitted with surgical knots using standard manual tying techniques, as well as with the help of tools.
Features: The thread has wicking, capillarity and "sawing" effect when passing through tissues.
