Such a dressing is used for acute and chronic wounds - surgical incisions, cuts, abrasions, wounds with secretions both in all departments of hospitals and clinics, and at home.
The unique absorbent pad was developed specifically for burn patients as a non-stick absorbent contact layer to speed up the healing process of pain.
Advantages:
The inner layer of the pad is a porous film that does not stick to the wound.
Due to the fact that the film does not contain large pores, it allows only exudate to pass through, but prevents infiltration of the absorbent pad by leukocytes and healing tissues, therefore, when the dressing is removed, damage to the healing tissue and associated pain can be avoided.
The pad does not delaminate, so it does not leave fibers in the wound that disrupt the healing process and predispose to infection.
In the absence of signs of chronic infection, and also if the pad has not been soaked with wound secretions, the dressing can be left on the skin for up to 96 hours.
