The uterine ring (pessary ) is a gynecological device ( vaginal ring ), which is used in cases of prolapse or prolapse of the uterus and vagina. It is installed to mechanically hold the walls of the vaginal passage and the body of the uterus with a significant weakening of the muscle tissues of the pelvic region or diaphragm.
Purpose: for individual use in gynecological practice for orthopedic purposes.

Disinfection: before disinfection, wash the rings in warm soapy water, rinse with running water. The rings are disinfected in a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution, according to the methods and modes in accordance with GOST 42-21-2. Before use, wash the rings in a 2% solution of baking soda for 30 minutes. with further washing with water, or wash with boiled water and soap and rinse thoroughly in boiled water.
The action is carried out due to the following points:
- reducing the load on the incompetent cervix due to the displacement of the cervix to the sacrum and reducing the pressure on it of the presenting part of the fetus;
- redistribution of pressure inside the uterus;
- the cervix is closed by the walls of the central opening;
- the mucous plug in the cervix is preserved, the risk of infection, membranes and the fetus is reduced.
Storage conditions: rings should be stored at a temperature of 5 to 40°C and a relative humidity of not more than 80% at 25°C.
