Peculiarities
The design of the central part of the brush type D JS allows scraping deeper layers of the epithelium from the cervical canal in comparison with the universal urogenital probe JS and the brush type B JS and significantly reduces the trauma of the cervical canal compared to using the endocervical brush JS. The protruding tubercles of the brush type D JS allow scraping the middle layers of the epithelium of the cervical canal with minimal trauma to the capillary vessels of this anatomical region.

Mode of application
Method: the central (protruding) section of the instrument is inserted into the cervical canal until it stops, the brush type D JS is rotated around its axis by 360 degrees in both directions, the smear is applied to the glass slide.
Thus, three paths of the epithelium appear on the glass: the central path is the epithelium from the cervical canal, two side paths are the epithelium of the cervix.
