Comfeel® Protective Cream (Barrier) is ideal for the care of dry and irritated skin and peri-wound surfaces damaged by wound exudate, as well as the skin around the stoma and fistula. The cream has high water-repellent properties. It softens the skin, restores its normal pH, and is used to prevent skin damage.
Indications
Protects the skin around the stoma from exposure to discharge from the stoma, as well as the near-wound surface of the skin from wound exudate.
Mode of application
Gently apply a thin layer of cream to the skin. Remove excess cream with a tissue. Allow the cream to soak in for a few minutes before applying colostomy bags or dressings.
