Angiographic catheters are invasive endovascular medical devices used to administer or infuse contrast media and/or fluids.
They are characterized by high functional parameters:
- thin-walled for maximum fluid flow
- high pressure resistance 100 atm (1450 PSI)
- Appropriate softness, elasticity and curves to facilitate catheter insertion and manipulation
- good visibility in x-rays
- perfectly smooth surface, very good side hole finishing and atraumatic tip.
Each catheter has a Luer-Lock connection, making the set hermetic. Some 5F and 6F catheters are available in a reinforced version; all catheters are characterized by softness of their distal part.
