The BD Venflon™ Pro catheter cannula is made from BD Vialon's unique, radiopaque, biocompatible material that has been clinically proven to provide benefits.
Peculiarities:
- The unique properties of the BD Vialon material provide a particularly smooth cannula surface and a smooth, smoothly fading catheter tip, which greatly facilitates venipuncture and reduces the risk of phlebitis;
- Due to the ability to soften inside the vein, BD Vialon biomaterial adapts to the natural shape of the vessels. This reduces pressure on the walls of the vessel and reduces the likelihood of infiltration and phlebitis, and also eliminates the occurrence of creases and kinks in the cannula.
- BD Vialon catheters provide higher flow rates than Teflon catheters due to their larger internal diameter.
- The injection port cover is equipped with a click-click mechanism. This allows you to close and open the port with one finger, thereby reducing the likelihood of port contamination.
