Clamp for newborns - made of durable, elastic medical polystyrene, in its design it has a ribbed working surface on the inside with atraumatic teeth (notches) that hold the umbilical cord in one position and a special locking lock with a shutter that provides a strong fixation on the umbilical cord in one position and prevents accidental (premature) opening of the clamp.
The umbilical clamp has a longitudinal groove located in the center of the working part of each branch, which serves for a more even distribution of Vartan's jelly (a jelly-like substance around the vessels of the umbilical cord).
The umbilical clamp is sterile - designed for single use, it is biologically safe and non-traumatic.
