The device for irrigoscopy (X-ray examination) is intended for examination of the patient's rectum, as well as intestinal lavage and therapeutic infusions.
The device for irrigoscopy and intestinal lavage version No. 1 is produced in two types (depending on the size of the tip): for children - tip No. 1 and adults - tip No. 2.
The set of devices for irrigoscopy and intestinal lavage includes:
- tip;
- clamp;
- transparent tube.
Irrigoscopy is a study that helps confirm the diagnosis of cancer and inflammatory diseases of the colon and rectum, as well as identify polyps, diverticula and structural changes in the colon wall.
With the help of a tube, the device is connected to the fitting of the Bobrov apparatus or to the Esmarch mug.
The tip of the device is made of a plastic polymer, which prevents injury to the tissues of the rectum, obturating its lumen. The shape of the tip eliminates its spontaneous prolapse and strictly limits the depth of its penetration into the lumen of the rectum.
