In order to repair the Achilles tendon with the Walker device (orthosis for the treatment of the ankle joint), it is necessary to adapt the position of the foot in the orthosis so that the plantar flexion is approximately 20°. To solve this problem, Orliman developed a heel stabilizer - AW01 .

The AW01 is a range of ergonomically designed risers (wedges) that will gradually reduce the flexion angle from 22° to 0° in 22° / 16° / 10° / 0° intervals.

AW01 - a set of four insteps 2 cm high. (Total height 8 cm) The insteps are interconnected with an adhesive layer, this makes it easy to connect or separate layers, thereby changing the angle of flexion and using the same heel plate at different stages of rehabilitation. The AW01 secures the heel with collars and has a removable top cover made of dense material.
