A comfortable and lightweight orthosis allows you to correct the morphological changes in the lower limb in osteoarthritis. With a split design, it adapts perfectly to the thigh and calf, allowing you to easily adjust the fit and effectively control your knee.
Correction of axial deformities of varus or valgus in the OCR400 occurs with the help of 3 points of directional pressure (a hinge and two belts).
The main pressure is created by a metal insert with a polycentric hinge, which is located only on one side, depending on the type of deformation. The insert has a special lock that allows you to adjust the degree of pressure. To adjust and limit the angle of flexion / extension, the hinge has special wedges. Flexion - 0°, 10°, 20°, 30°, 45°,60°,75°, 90°; extension - 0°, 10°, 20°, 30°, 40°.
Two cross belts provide optimal unloading of the degenerative section. These straps are color coded for easy fastening.
Two plastic semi-rigid cuffs are built into the design, which are inside the soft material, do not contact directly with the skin and at the same time contribute to the correct operation of the entire knee pad.
The textile material is soft, comfortable and breathable, providing moderate compression focused on the knee joint. Silicone inserts inside prevent the kneecap from shifting. There is also foam in the higher pressure areas to help avoid discomfort.
Anatomical design and detachable design.
3 directional pressure points to correct varus/valgus deformities.
On the one hand, a rigid insert with a hinge (right and left models, depending on the location of the insert), on the opposite side, a semi-rigid removable spiral insert.
Two sturdy, color-coded cross straps for optimal unloading.
Velcro Micro-Velcro.
The textile material is soft, comfortable and breathable, providing moderate compression.
Silicone inserts help to avoid slipping of the orthosis and discomfort.
Alignment of the axial deviation of the thigh / leg.
Creation of lateral or medial pressure for effective correction of mild to moderate varus valgus deformities.
Prevention of hyperextension.
Reduction of inflammatory processes and prevention of disease progression.
Stabilization and improvement of the functions of the knee joint.
Limitation of the range of motion of the joints.
Reducing pain, and due to this, reducing the intake of analgesic and anti-inflammatory drugs.
Unicomponent osteoarthritis of the knee (medial or lateral), mild or moderate.
With instabilities of the knee joint associated with osteoarthritis.
Medial or lateral lesion of the meniscus.
postoperative period.
For patients with osteoarthritis who want to stay active and move freely, for sports.
