A knee brace is used as a convenient alternative to a plaster cast after injuries and operations on the knee joint. The orthosis does not have hinges to set the range of motion, but it provides reliable immobilization and fixation of the knee joint.
The tutor is made of three-layer material, inside there is a cotton coating that does not irritate the skin and does not cause allergic reactions; the middle layer is foam, it is perfectly permeable to air and absorbs excess moisture; outside wear-resistant material - nylon. This combination of materials ensures comfort even during long-term use. And special silicone bands prevent the orthosis from slipping off the leg.
For complete immobilization of the knee joint, the tutor has four metal splints: two lateral and two rear. The rear tires are slightly bent (to fix the knee in the correct physiological position). Tires are easily removed if necessary.
The three-component fit adjustment system allows you to adapt the orthosis to the user's characteristics.
The inner component has special elastic straps that help fix the structure on the leg and ensure the correct position, while the other straps are not closed. Strong straps at the top and bottom help secure the tutor.
