Model: MSA100
P is used to diagnose and evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive bronchitis, bronchiectasis, etc.
Since the interface of the device is simple, it can be used by both children and adults.
Measuring principle:
When air flows through the turbine sensor, it causes the turbine blades to spin. The vane speed is a linear relationship with the flow rate. Thanks to the photoelectric conversion technology, the rotation of the blade is converted into a pulse type signal, processed by the main processor after the measurement. PSV and FEV1 indicators are calculated using an algorithmic formula and displayed on the display.
Specifications:
1.Measurement method
2. Measuring range
3. Accuracy:
4. Display: Segment LCD, size 1.8 inches
5. Memory capacity: 300 measurements with date and time
6. Parameters: PSV / FEV1
7. Power supply: 2 x AAA1.5 batteries
8. Dimensions:
9. Weight 120g (with batteries and mouthpiece)
10. Data transfer: USB cable and data processing disk
Measurement:
After turning on the instrument, the display will show the last measurement result, after that the display will show "READY" (ready for measurement) and two short beeps. Inhale deeply and hold your breath for a second. Pinch the mouthpiece with your lips. Exhale as quickly and forcefully as possible. See fig. 4-4 in the instructions. A long beep confirms that the result has been recorded. The display shows PEF for 3 seconds, then FEV1, after which the spirometer is ready for the next measurement, which is confirmed by 2 short beeps.
It is recommended to take three or more consecutive measurements. In this case, the instrument will store the best measurement result in memory.
After each measurement, the display first shows the actual measurement result, then automatically shows the highest value of the current measurement series.
