INDICATIONS FOR USE

• hip fracture;
• early postoperative rehabilitation after hip arthroplasty;
• paresis, paralysis of the lower extremities;
• rehabilitation period after acute cerebrovascular accident (stroke);
• the period after injuries and operations in the area of the hip joint.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE

The derotation boot fixes the lower limb in the position of abduction and adduction from 45 to 90°. Excludes lateral mobility of the limb, which complicates fractures of the femoral neck. Due to the presence of a soft insert, it prevents the formation of bedsores.

DESCRIPTION

The metal tire of the boot is modeled on a healthy leg and provides fixation of the limb in the ankle joint. The leg at the base of the product is fixed with Velcro fasteners. Lateral straps adjust the angle of the foot. The high cotton content makes the boot pleasant to the touch and comfortable to use. The product has a removable soft pad against bedsores. The materials of the product are breathable and wear-resistant. The derotation boot should only be used in the prone position!

WHEN TO USE

• If you have had a stroke and lost control of your feet because of it.
• If there was an injury to the hip joint or surgery in this area.
• If you do not control the mobility in the leg.
