The anti-bedsore system works in a dynamic mode, that is, massage is performed all the time, such work has a positive effect on the patient’s well-being. Changing the pressure in the sections allows for normal blood and lymph circulation in the skin, constant access of oxygen to the body and distributes pressure on soft tissues.
IMPORTANT! When the compressor is turned off, the blade deflates air and is re-inflated without the patient on it.
The compressor is small in size and can be located on the headboard, thanks to the presence of special mounts, under the bed or near it. The low noise level will ensure quality rest for the patient and will not disturb roommates or staff.
Adjusting the pressure in the mattress fabric will allow you to establish optimal rigidity, maintaining the therapeutic effect without causing discomfort to the patient. The setting is made according to the patient’s weight using a special regulator on the compressor. The maximum load on the anti-bedsore system can be 135 kg.
The length of the connecting tubes is approximately 1.5 m; this length will make it possible to place the compressor far enough from the bed if necessary.
The high-quality coating of the canvas does not absorb liquids; for cleaning, you can use a soap solution or gentle cleaning and disinfectants. Due to the fact that all electrical contacts are located far from the fabric, the ingress of liquids onto the mattress fabric poses absolutely no threat to life or health.
ATTENTION! Avoid contact of the mattress fabric with piercing and cutting objects, exclude pets from being on the mattress, this can damage the sections, which will lead to malfunction or impossibility of use. An anti-bedsore mattress should be used on top of a regular mattress or any soft padding.
The universal size of the mattress is designed for its location on a medical bed or a single household bed.
To start using the anti-decubitus mattress, follow the following instructions:
- Remove the product from the box, remove the protective packaging, check the contents and any visible damage;
- Lay out the mattress fabric on a flat surface or bed so that the connecting tubes are in the foot section;
- Cover the mattress with a sheet;
- Place the compressor in a place convenient for use;
- Connect the blade and the compressor using tubes, check that the tubes are not crushed or twisted;
- Connect the compressor to the network and let the mattress be completely filled with air, after which you can select the degree of elasticity according to the person’s weight;
- The mattress is ready to use!
