The bed platform consists of four sections and offers multiple functions, including height adjustment and side safety rails. The mattress platform is divided into four sections: a backrest section, a fixed support section, and two leg sections. The backrest section allows the user to be raised into a seated position for eating, reading, watching TV, or simply increasing comfort. The support section remains fixed and serves as the base for the movable sections.
The leg sections elevate the thighs and lower legs. Raising both the backrest and leg sections places the user in a comfortable “lounger” position. Two crank handles are used to adjust the sections: one controls the leg sections, while the other adjusts the backrest section.
Thanks to its special design, the bed allows height adjustment of the mattress platform, making patient transfers and medical procedures more convenient. Height adjustment is controlled by a separate crank handle.
For greater convenience and compactness, the crank handles can be folded downward when not in use.
The polyurethane foam mattress is divided into sections to follow the contours of the bed platform. Its thickness provides comfort for the user and it can also be used together with an anti-decubitus mattress. The water-resistant cover helps prevent contamination and odor accumulation.
The headboard and footboard can be easily removed, providing access to the patient from all sides when necessary. The footboard includes a transparent pocket for patient information, prescriptions, or other documentation.
The side rails can be easily raised and lowered by pressing a single button. They protect the user from falling while remaining unobtrusive when lowered, allowing easy access to and from the bed.
The wheels feature a high-quality coating, roll smoothly, operate quietly, and do not leave marks on the floor. The wheels make the bed highly mobile, allowing it to be moved easily within a room, ward, or between rooms without transferring the patient.
The bed is delivered almost fully assembled. To prepare it for use:
- Open the box and remove all components.
- Check the contents and inspect for visible damage.
- The frame and mattress platform arrive pre-assembled.
- Install the wheels and place the bed upright.
- Attach the headboard and footboard.
- Install the side rails and verify their operation.
- Place the mattress on the platform.
- The bed is ready for use.
