Purpose: fixing belts (knitting, soft knitting) for a functional bed are used in intensive care units, neurosurgery, neurology, psychiatry, when it becomes necessary to fix the patient during treatment with impaired consciousness, in the postoperative period to improve regenerative processes, also motor-excitable patients , as well as during transportation by the Ministry of Emergency Situations and ambulance services.
Features of soft fixative belts are that they are designed on the basis of soft and elastic material. A layer of elastic material provides a comfortable, soft and safe for the patient fixation of the arms, legs and torso. Soft fixators exclude unacceptable clamping of peripheral vessels and circulatory disorders, which often occur when using traditional methods of fixing a patient with bandages, belts, sheets, etc.
In the manufacture of clamps, a strong sling and soft cushioning material are used. Fixation is provided with the help of a contact fastener (Velcro) and a fastex (trident) type lock made of durable plastic.
